The white light sensor CFP

Ultra-precise chromatic point sensor

Ultra-high-precision surface scanning system

The white light sensor CFP

Technical specifications

센서 원리Optical-axial (chromatic aberration)
Accuracy (MPE)0.25 µm
Maximum measuring range0.3 mm to 3 mm

Operating principle

Light from the optical source (b) is injected into the measuring substance (level 1), 2) or 3) through the fiber coupling (a) in the measuring box (c), optical fiber (d), and the optical system (e). The intensity of reflected light is highest in the color corresponding to the distance to the measuring substance (f), which is measured through the diffractor (g).

Operating principle

Key benefits

The principle of color-variation measurement ensures high independence from low measurement bias and surface characteristics, measuring many points in a short time during scanning, allowing it to be used in a wide range of fields that require high measurement accuracy and measurement time, from rigorously applied density to shape and roughness.

Key benefits
  • Sensitive and elastic measuring materials can be measured by a wide range of measuring sensors, which allow for quick scanning without moving the equipment axis along the measuring material surface, which can shorten the measuring time further, and allow for reflective or transparent surface measurement.
