Thanks to powerful hardware and intelligent measurement software, coordinate meters with computer-aided single-layer imaging have been achieving increasingly high accuracy and measurement speeds, which has allowed industrial single-layer imaging not only to be used in laboratories, but also for rapid 3D measurement and statistical process management (SPC) near production sites. Unlike other sensors, full three-dimensional objects, including subcut and internal shapes, can be measured at any time with a single button.
