Crankshafts.
The parts that convert the rotational motion of a piston engine into rotational motion

The crank shaft is characterized by eccentric run-out rotation of the pin bearing. The profile of the main journal and the pin journal, the crowning of the journal, and each length are measured. The measurement inaccuracy requirements are very high with the interval ranging from 5 μm to 20 μm, and the measurement time requirements are also quite high. When measuring, a method is recommended to mount the crank shaft vertically between centers. Using the rotary axis, the rotary journal can be rotated and the profile and center can be continuously scanned, allowing a fixed-focused analysis of the optical-contact sensor.
