Werth laser sensor WLP

Laser displacement sensor based on the Foucault principle

High-precision surface scanning system

Werth laser sensor WLP

Technical specifications

센서 원리Optical-axial (Foucault cutting edge)
Accuracy (MPE)0.75 µm

Operating principle

Because the laser beam a) is asymmetrical using the Fuku Knife Edge b), the diffuse reflected light reaches different locations on the dynamic diode c) and produces distances up to the measuring surface d). Integration to the image processing sensor f) is done through the split mirror e).

Operating principle

Key benefits

The existing triangular measurement sensors have a significant impact on the surface structure and angularity of the measurement results, which cause relatively large measurement inaccuracies, allowing the sensor to be used only for low-precision measurement operations. The WLP Fuko laser sensor, integrated into Werth Zoom's light path, can be used to achieve better results. This sensor is particularly useful for rapid flat measurement of surfaces tilted to 80° or the corresponding curve.

Key benefits
  • Werth Laser Probe's unique Foco principle provides an application that transcends the limits of the general TTL (Through The Lens) laser. WLP is directly integrated into the light path of the image processing sensor and can be easily observed visually during very fast sensor replacement measurement operations. Surface profile scanning is super-fast, with no measuring camera and sensor offset, and measurement gaps are minimized.
