The tap is a NASA processing tool with a complex shape. The main measurement parameters are the nasal tooth profile, pitch, valid diameter, flake diameter, relief, and pointing, and the gap is about 10 μm to 15 μm, with high measurement inaccuracy requirements. The nasal tooth may cause image processing sensor measurement shading, which is recommended to use an additional tilt axis. Combining fiber optic probes can be used to access the narrow nasal core to measure the complementary flake shape, which is an important basis for assessing the tape's cutting performance.
