The gear follows a standardized tooth standard. The measurements are based on DIN 3962, which measures the tooth profile deviation, the flange line deviation, the pitch, the radial run-out, the tooth thickness, and the thickness of the tooth. Depending on the gear, the gear is distributed from μm to 100 μm. Combining Werth's multi-sensor system with the rotational axis can scan the entire tooth to produce an automatic gear assessment report based on international standards.
