Key benefits

- Almost all current Brinell hardness testers measure the indentation with a mechanical microscope, so environmental factors can easily affect measurement accuracy. Users must also record the measured diameter manually. To reduce these errors, measurements must be taken at least twice and averaged, and a hardness table must be consulted to find the appropriate Brinell hardness value.
