The lens has a very simple shape, but the aperture is very low and the surface is sensitive to scratches. The most important geometrical characteristic of the lens is its curvature radius, which includes the entire surface aperture. The aperture of the lens in the range of 0.5 μm to 2 μm is extremely high, and the measurement time is important. The primary point chromatic focus sensor is key to reliably verify sub-μm-level aperture by non-contact, and can complement contact point criteria with fiber probes when necessary.
