The components used in fuel-dissemination technology in internal combustion plants

The diameter of the hole is about 100 μm, the length is about 1 mm. The main parameters to be measured are the diameter of the hole, and the position and angle of the hole to the axis of reference of the nozzle. Because the gap is very small at micrometre level, the measurement inaccuracy requirements are very high, and short measurement times are required. The diameter of the hole is very small and cannot be measured by the existing electromechanical stylus (contact probe). In this case, a micro-format dedicated sensor such as the fiber probe (WFP) or the interference probe (WIP) is required, and the precision of the hole is directly related to the fuel distribution pattern and combustion efficiency.
