The labels are typically 2D shapes. The important measurement parameters are the size and location of the outer contour and the printing. The level of measurement inaccuracy required is somewhat low because of the size of the intersection, but the measurement time should be very short. The labels are flat parts that are produced in high-speed mass, so the 2D image processing-based measurement is efficient at quickly determining the outer contour and the printing location at once. The optical injection method allows for instantaneous image verification without contact, and is suitable for inline testing.
