The relatively large headlamp must check the location of the optical elements for electrical parts, the assembly state of the mechanical parts, and the position of the optical source for each reflector. The measurement inaccuracy requirement is medium in the 20 μm to 100 μm range of the transformer. As a large assembly of metal, plastic and optical components, the internal position relationship must be verified in a non-destructive manner, so TomoScope® L/XL arrays are suitable for large measuring instruments. A single CT scanner can reconstruct the relative position of the optical source and optical reflector elements simultaneously, and without decomposition can identify assembly complexity and potential defects together.
